My roommate used my cast iron as a doorstop for 2 months

Last month I came home to my apartment in Austin and found my 12 inch cast iron skillet wedged under my roommate's bedroom door to keep it from slamming. He said he grabbed it from the kitchen because it was heavy and he didn't think I'd notice. The thing had rust spots all over the bottom and the seasoning was completely wrecked. I had to spend 4 hours with a chainmail scrubber and re-season it three times just to get it back to usable. Has anyone else had a roommate ruin a kitchen item in a way that made zero sense?
