Lived with a guy in Phoenix back in 2021 who would cut chicken, wipe the board with a dry rag, and call it clean. The rag stayed on the counter until it smelled like a crime scene, usually 48 hours later. I got so sick of it that I started spraying everything with bleach solution before I even made my own food, which felt insane at the time. Fast forward to my new place and I still do the ritual every night around 10pm, even when I only made toast. Am I the only one who picked up a weird cleaning habit from a gross roommate and never dropped it?
