My 12x10 gravel pad finally stopped washing out after I added a 4 inch lip on the low side
For two rainy seasons the corner of my shed pad in Nashville kept getting rutted out, and I kept blaming the soil. Last Saturday I dug a shallow trench, dumped two bags of paver base, and built up a small lip on the downhill side, and after this week's storms it held with zero gravel loss. Has anyone else fixed drainage with a simple grade change instead of a French drain?
