Feed storage dilemma: airtight bins or simple buckets?

I'm redoing my feed area and can't decide... Airtight containers keep feed fresh longer, but they cost more. Buckets are easy and cost less, but pests might get in. I'm torn between keeping things budget-friendly or going for better protection. What do you all think?

Ever meet a mouse that respects a bucket lid? Spend a little more now, or basically run a free hotel for bugs later. The math is pretty simple on this one.

Being torn on budget vs. protection is fair, but think about how much feed you'll waste if bugs get in. Buckets are cheap until you're picking out weevils every time you feed. Airtight might cost more now, but it saves money and hassle down the road.

Personally, I wasted so much feed with buckets that airtight bins paid for themselves.
