Hot take: that $40 HF stud welder paid for itself on one Durango quarter panel
I figured the $40 Harbor Freight stud welder was junk and honestly said so to a guy named Ray at the shop on 9th. Six months ago I finally bought one for a rusty Durango quarter and it pulled 14 dents with no drama, though I did swap the tips right away. The ground clamp is flimsy and I melted one trigger already, so it's not perfect. Anyone running a cheapo unit with a better tip brand they'd recommend?
