Looking for pest control in the Cumming area. I got quotes from Orkin and a local company called Monitor Pest Control. Orkin is a bit pricier but has the name recognition. Anyone compared the two? Just need ants and occasional spiders handled.

Log InI used Orkin years ago and it was okay but felt like a production line. Monitor Pest Control actually takes time to inspect and explain what they're doing. They're also cheaper for the same quarterly plan. My parents switched and are happy.
Second for Monitor Pest Control. They're based in North Atlanta so they know the local pests (fire ants, carpenter bees, etc.). Orkin is fine but you're paying for the brand. Monitor gave us a free re-treatment when ants showed up after a heavy rain.
