Update: my uncle's shed went from 6 hours of looking to 20 minutes, and it was one cheap thing
Helped my uncle clean out his shed in Toledo last Saturday. Two years ago it took us 6 hours just to find his leaf blower. This time we walked in and grabbed it in 20 minutes. What changed? He screwed a $15 pegboard from Harbor Freight onto the back wall and labeled every hook with a Sharpie. Curious if anyone else has a cheap fix that beat the fancy storage systems.
