Thought my kid's book report was doomed, then the librarian at the Rossford branch pulled a rabbit out of her hat
My 11 year old had to do a report on a Michigan inventor and I figured the local library would have nothing, so I wasted 2 days scrolling sites that all wanted a login. The librarian there, Denise, walked me straight to a shelf of old automotive history books and found a whole chapter on a woman who patented a windshield wiper setup in 1903. Turns out the small branch had better stuff than anything I could pull up online. Is it normal for the county branches to have better local history shelves than the main library downtown?
