Landlord in Austin tried to charge me $350 for a 'deep clean' after I moved out, so now I film everything
I moved out of my place in Austin two weeks ago and the landlord sent me a bill for $350 for cleaning and a broken blind that was already like that when I moved in. I didn't have any proof so I just paid it and felt like an idiot. Now before I hand back keys I walk through the whole apartment with my phone recording, open every closet and cabinet, and get the landlord to say on camera that it looks fine. Has anyone else started doing video walkthroughs and did it actually save you from getting charged?
