Showerthought: I spent 3 months judging anime by the poster art and I feel kinda dumb now
So back in January a friend kept bugging me to watch Ping Pong the Animation and I kept putting it off because the art style looked rough to me. Finally caved on a rainy Sunday and by episode 2 I was mad at myself, the animation in the actual matches is insane and the style is the whole point. Turns out I had been skipping shows for years based on a single still image, which is like judging a band by their album cover font. Anyone else have a show that totally flipped their snap judgment?
