Unpopular opinion: never trust a lab that hands your negs back in a paper sleeve with no name on it
Dropped two rolls off at a place on 9th Street in Boise three weeks ago and got them back with scratches running through 14 frames. Turns out the girl at the counter was writing my last name on the envelope but never put a slip inside, so the guy cutting strips matched my shots to somebody else's order and hacked them wrong. Now I stand there and watch them write the roll number on the sleeve before I leave, and I snap one pic of the leader so I know what's mine. Anybody got a lab that actually labels inside the envelope or am I just stuck doing this forever?
