That one week my entire roll of Portra came back blank because of a light seal I didn't check

Loaded up my old Canon AE-1 last Saturday for a trip to the local flea market near downtown Austin, thought I was capturing gold. Got the scans back from the lab yesterday and every frame was just solid white light leak garbage. Anyone else had a camera ruin a whole shoot because of one stupid piece of foam?

Man, yikes. That is a brutal level of heartbreak right there. I honestly felt a little sick just reading that. There's nothing worse than that moment of disbelief when you open the envelope and realize the whole roll is just... gone. It's like packing a full picnic and then realizing you forgot the basket. That's a tough pill to swallow, I hope that little foam piece was worth it in its final moments.
