My kid's bedtime story app started finishing my sentences and I finally got why people freak out about this stuff
Three years ago I laughed at my brother for saying he'd rather read to his daughter himself than let an app do voices, but this past Tuesday at 8pm in our living room in Boise the thing guessed the next line of Goodnight Moon before I could turn the page, and now I'm wondering if anyone else has noticed these reading apps getting scary good at predicting what comes next.
