I finally stopped trusting the "dead mall" label after the Galleria in Cleveland fooled me twice
Everyone in this group keeps saying a mall is dead the second a big anchor closes, and that is how I skipped the Galleria in Cleveland for 8 months based on one comment here. When I finally walked it on a Tuesday afternoon, the food court was still open with 3 stands running and a barber shop doing steady walk in business near the east entrance, which is a totally different place than the empty shell people described. So who else has almost missed a good explore because someone called it dead without saying which part of the building they actually checked?
